How Our Programs Work

Every Nakhon Capital program follows the same design principle: content arrives in manageable sections, reflection exercises help you apply ideas to your own circumstances, and optional discussion sessions give you space to ask questions and hear how others are thinking through similar decisions.

Pre-recorded lectures

Structured video content you can pause, replay, and return to. Each section is self-contained and typically 20 to 35 minutes long.

Workbooks & templates

Printable worksheets, reflection prompts, and financial templates that accompany each module and remain yours to keep after the program.

Optional group sessions

Scheduled discussion sessions (capped at 12 participants) and live Q&A opportunities for those who want to engage beyond the self-paced material.

Foundations of Retirement Planning

An eight-week self-paced program for adults approaching or already in their forties and fifties who want to build a clearer picture of their retirement horizon. The course walks through the mechanics of the Thai pension framework, personal savings planning, realistic lifestyle budgeting, and healthcare preparation in later years.

Sessions include pre-recorded lectures, worksheet-driven reflection exercises, and an optional small-group discussion held twice during the program. Suitable for those beginning to think seriously about the next stage without prior financial background.

What You Will Cover

1
Thailand's pension landscape — Social Security Fund, government pension schemes, and voluntary savings vehicles explained in plain language.
2
Personal savings architecture — how to map your current financial position and build a realistic picture of what you need and when.
3
Lifestyle budgeting in retirement — working backwards from how you want to live to what that actually requires in baht terms.
4
Healthcare and later-life preparation — considering insurance, healthcare costs, and the practical logistics of ageing in Thailand.

  • Take-home cashflow planning template (yours to keep)

Thoughtful Investing After Forty

A twelve-week guided pathway that introduces the practical vocabulary of investing — asset classes, diversification, fee structures, time horizon — written with mature learners in mind. Prior investing experience is not expected; curiosity and a willingness to engage with numbers are what you need.

Structured around case discussions that reflect real Thai household circumstances, including inheritance planning, care of parents, and supporting adult children during their own transitions.

What You Will Cover

1
Investment vocabulary — asset classes, risk and return concepts, diversification principles, and how fees accumulate over time.
2
Thai household case discussions — real-world scenarios involving inheritance, family support obligations, and retirement portfolios in a Thai context.
3
Paper portfolio exercise — a practical allocation exercise using notional amounts to observe how different portfolio compositions behave across market conditions.
4
Time horizon and withdrawal planning — how to think about when you will need your savings and how that shapes appropriate allocations.

What You Receive

  • Moderated Q&A forum available throughout
  • Monthly live review sessions open to all participants
  • Portfolio-building exercise workbook
  • Course completion letter

Legacy and Estate Planning Companion Program

A sixteen-week advanced program for participants who have already established a foundation in personal finance and wish to consider how to prepare their affairs for those they care about. This is quiet, careful work — the kind that rarely gets done without structure and encouragement.

The program pairs video material with reflective journaling prompts and two optional one-to-one educational conversations with a program mentor. The closing module invites participants to draft a personal legacy letter alongside their practical planning notes.

What You Will Cover

1
Thai inheritance in plain language — how the legal framework operates, what it means in practice for common family arrangements, and where it can be supplemented by advance planning.
2
Wills and trust-like arrangements — the role of written wishes within local legal custom and how to approach their preparation thoughtfully.
3
Charitable giving and family coordination — structuring giving intentions and having clear conversations with family members across generations.
4
Document and digital account organisation — the practical work of organising what needs to be found by others and ensuring digital accounts are addressed.
5
The personal legacy letter — a closing exercise inviting you to capture your values, wishes, and voice in a document for those who matter to you.

What You Receive

  • Two one-to-one mentor conversations (scheduled at your convenience)
  • Reflective journaling prompts throughout all 16 weeks
  • Estate document organiser checklist
  • Personal legacy letter guide and template
  • Course completion letter
